UXBRIDGE, Mass. — An Uxbridge, Mass., truck driver says he won’t give up the wheel even after becoming an instant millionaire.

Daniel Snay instantly won $10 million playing the Massachusetts’s state lottery’s scratch-and-win Billion Dollar Blockbuster.

Snay, who hauls boats up and down the East Coast, received his first of 20 annuity checks for $500,000 before taxes today at lottery headquarters in Braintree, Mass., according to a lottery headquarters news release.

“I’m gonna keep driving,” said Snay. He said he plans to invest most of his winnings and help his five children.

“One is about to start law school,” said Snay.

Snay bought the winning ticket at the Cumberland Farms store in Hopedale, Mass. The store will receive a $50,000 commission on the sale.

Billion Dollar Blockbuster, with more than $1 billion in prize money available, reportedly is the biggest game ever produced by any American lottery. The game offers 10 instant prizes of $10 million each and 130 instant prizes of $1 million apiece. Since the game’s debut last fall, four players have won $10 million while another 39 have won $1 million in instant prizes.

Billion Dollar Blockbuster will also raise $154 million in aid for Massachusetts cities and towns. The Massachusetts state lottery is in the midst of its best year ever with sales increasing by more than 6 percent.
