Diesel continues drop to $2.809

This week only two regions remained above $3.00: New England ($3.148) and Central Atlantic ($3.072). Every region showed a drop of at least $0.118.

The U.S. weekly on-highway diesel price average dropped $0.135 today to $2.809 per gallon. That’s down $0.601 a gallon from the same week last year.

This week only two regions remained above $3.00: New England ($3.148) and Central Atlantic ($3.072). Every region showed a drop of at least $0.118.

California’s price was $2.754, down $0.159 from one week ago, and down $0.870 from one year ago.

The least expensive region to purchase a gallon of diesel was the Gulf Coast at $2.745.
