THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Old Dominion Freight Line Inc. kicked off its 75th anniversary celebration at this year’s National Industrial Transportation League (NITL) Annual Meeting and TransComp Exhibition in Fort Lauderdale Nov. 14-19. Old Dominion is launching its new “Promises” marketing campaign and its 75th Anniversary Tour, a 27-city road tour featuring a customized truck with interactive displays outlining the company’s history.

Old Dominion’s new Promises campaign was crafted by Raleigh, N.C.-based integrated marketing communications agency RBW to emphasize the company’s commitment to its customers. The new tagline is “Helping the world keep promises.”

“The Promises campaign emphasizes our focus on the human, emotional, relationship-driven aspect of the business,” said Executive Chairman of the Board Earl Congdon. “At Old Dominion, we believe the world runs on promises, and no transportation company is better suited or skilled to keep those promises than we are.”
