Alabama ramps from I-10 East to I-10 West to be closed

ALDOT also will close the Bankhead Tunnel Thursday at 9 p.m. The tunnel will reopen to traffic before 6 a.m. Friday.

MOBILE, Ala. — Mobile-area drivers take note: state highway workers will close highway ramps at Interstate 10 East to Alabama 163 South, and I-10 West to Alabama 163 South.

The ramps will be closed from 7 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday.

ALDOT also will close the Bankhead Tunnel Thursday at 9 p.m. The tunnel will reopen to traffic before 6 a.m. Friday.

Alabama state trooper Corporal Byron Piggott at the Mobile post said the ramps will be closed for bridge repairs.

ALDOT suggest drivers use alternate routes.
