In the Nov. 1 print edition of The Trucker, a story incorrectly linked Jim Palmer Trucking of Missoula, Mont., to the 2,000 smaller carriers who had gone out of business in the first half of 2008. JPT filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection July 15, but is still operating.

The company said today it has spent 120 days “aggressively building an organization plan” to present to the bankruptcy court.

“This well-defined plan outlines JPT’s plan for success,” Lonnie Wallace, company president, said. “JPT’s employees, customers, vendors and associates can be assured the doors are definitely open and our wheels are turning. Jim Palmer Trucking remains unwavering in our commitment to the motto, 'Safety. Service. Satisfaction.’“
