Grote continues to brighten truckers’ work spaces with new innovations

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Grote continues to brighten truckers’ work spaces with lighting solutions: their aim is still “to enhance human performance,” said Grote President and CEO Eric Morris at the Mid-America Trucking Show here today.

Grote introduced at the show a number of new innovations, including its Per-Lux LED WhiteLight Work Lamp.

It features a glass lens with a chemical- and corrosion-resistant, heavy-gauge stainless steel housing and a rugged durability inherent in Per-Lux products.

Mike Grote, business development manager for forward lighting, noted that the light pattern is brighter with the new product and that it more closely resembles natural sunlight.

The Per-Lux LED Work Lamp is available to OEMs and can be retrofitted easily. It comes in spot, flood and trapezoid lens configurations.

Also at MATS Grote unveiled new products to their Hi Count LED line: the Clear Lens Hi Count LED Round and Oval Stop, Tail, Turn Lamps; the Clear Lens Hi Count LED Square Corner Lamps; the Clear Lens Hi Count LED 2-inch and 2.5-inch and Rectangular Marker Lamps.

In addition, they introduced the Hi Count LED Box Lamp with Side Marker in red and yellow for right or left mounting configuration and the Hi Count LED Round and Square Double Face Lamp in Red and Yellow.

The company also noted that Grote’s new round and oval LED stop, tail and turn lamps offer the male pin or hard-shell terminations and are thus ideal for fleets wanting to upgrade from incandescent lights to LEDs.

Grote also has an addition to its SuperNova family of long-life LED lamps, the SuperNova LED single diode backup lamp that they said rivals multi-diode versions.

“Using Grote’s advanced product development prowess and Grote’s leading LED WhiteLight technology we were able to develop a more advanced back-up lamp featuring high output LEDs,” said Steve Green, business development manager for signal lighting.
