THOMASVILLE, N.C. — L.B. Clayton, vice president of the Midsouth Region for Old Dominion Freight Line Inc., announced a service center relocation to Augusta, Ga. The 22-door facility is located on a 4-acre site at 725 Laney Walker Blvd. Ext., Augusta, Ga.
According to Clayton, the Augusta Service Center will begin operations under the leadership of Manager of Sales and Service Mike Atwood.
“The opening of the larger, more centrally located Augusta Service Center will help to expedite the flow of freight and enhance the level of service we provide to our existing customer base in northeastern Georgia and southwestern South Carolina,” said Clayton. “Old Dominion will be positioned to gain market share in points currently being served.”
