PORTLAND, Ore. — Freightliner’s Cascadia is now available in a 72-inch XT model, the second sleeper variation to be introduced, according to Freightliner Trucks.
The new model is designed for flatbed and tanker operations and has a stand-up sleeper with 78 inches from the base of the bunk to the ceiling, so drivers can stand to full height.
There also is an optional upper bunk or storage cabinets against the back wall of the cab for additional storage.
The new Cascadia 72-inch XT was introduced at the Mid-America Trucking Show here in March, along with an announcement that a 60-inch raised roof, 60-inch XT and 48-inch XT are coming later in the year.
The Cascadia 72-inch XT is available for order now, Freightliner Trucks said.
Freightliner Trucks is a division of Daimler Trucks North America.
