Diesel average tops $4 for first time
Diesel sets another record high with 10.4 cent jump.

For the first time ever, the average cost per gallon for diesel topped $4. The price on April 14 was $4.059, according to information provided by the Energy Information Administration.
The price per gallon was up $1.182 from one year ago the same week. And every region was over $4.00 on April 14, with all regions increasing for the week. The most expensive region was the Central Atlantic where the price was $4.266 per gallon.
