GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. — “Land Line Now,” a radio program produced by the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association (OOIDA), has launched a redesigned and enhanced Web site, www.landlinenow.com with added features that will expand the show.

“We have responded to feedback from our listeners on a number of fronts, and feel like this new site will help us reach an even wider audience,” Mark Reddig, show host, said.

The show is aired each day from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. EDT and each morning from 6 to 7 a.m.

Some of the features will make it possible for those without XM Satellite Radio service to have access to a limited amount of information heard on the show.

Partial sound clips and transcripts of some stories will be available on the site. Agreements with XM and other issues make full podcasts of the show not possible.

“This is a great time to announce the site, with mainstream media focusing on trucking,” Reddig said. “While our show is mainly for the trucking community, we certainly believe what we do could be relevant for a lot more audiences.”

Some of the new features include a blog, a member forum, special feature articles, selected sound clips, transcripts of some stories, opinion pieces and a new overall appearance for the site.

The Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association is the national trade association representing the interests of small-business trucking professionals and professional truck drivers. The Association currently has more than 162,000 members nationwide.
