TULSA, Okla. —  LinkAmerica Corp. has announced the acquisition of G.H. Miller & Sons, a truckload carrier based in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.

“LinkAmerica continues to rapidly grow its service offerings and to provide superior customer service to shippers across the nation,” Roger Collins, LinkAmerica Corp.’s chairman, said. “The acquisition of G.H. Miller & Sons is a valuable addition to LinkAmerica that reinforces our mission to dominate markets by providing exceptional service to our customers and further enhances our ability to meet the unique transportation needs of our clients.”

LinkAmerica Corp. has strategically located eight service centers to provide what the company calls “Best in Class” service in high volume lanes.

Acquiring G.H. Miller & Sons, another high service provider, fits the company’s aggressive long-term growth strategy. LinkAmerica Corporation provides both drivers and customers a local service provider with the support and capacity of a broad national provider, Collins said.

The company also announced that Carl Bailey has joined the company to head LinkAmerica

Dedicated, a new division.

“With 14 years in the transportation industry, Carl Bailey brings a wealth of experience

to LinkAmerica,” Todd Smith, president of LinkAmerica Corp., said “LinkAmerica Dedicated is a significant step in our long-term growth strategy, and Carl Bailey’s leadership will be important to the success of this new division of the company.”

Bailey noted the long-term relationships LinkAmerica had built with its customers.

“These relationships allow for the trust required to commit to longer-term, multi-faceted transportation and logistics solutions,” he said. “LinkAmerica’s desire to provide world class service is why I am excited to continue building scenarios that go beyond the normal shipper/carrier expectations.”

LinkAmerica Dedicated will provide customers with another way to customize their transportation solutions, Bailey said, adding that the new division would provide customized transportation and logistics solutions, addressing needs for capacity as well as for flexibility with equipment, through developing long-term relationships with customers and focusing on individual logistics requirements.
