Grote introduces new LED single diode back-up lamp

MADISON, Ind. — Grote Industries has introduced SuperNova LED single diode back-up lamps that the company says provides the best light output, rivaling multi-diode versons.

 “Using Grote’s advanced product development prowess and Grote s leading LED WhiteLight technology, we were able to develop a more advanced back-up lamp featuring high output LEDs,”Steve Green, business development manager for signal lighting, said.

 The advancement in Grote s LED WhiteLight technology and its related surface mount electronics production systems, have migrated to our SuperNova signal lighting line, he added.

“Dovetailing on Grote’s LED WhiteLight technology, utilizing surface mount automation, leveraging new diode advancements in light output and Grote’s advanced optic design capabilities, has led to their ability to develop a reliable and very cost-effective back-up lamp solutions,” Green said.

The lamps, featuring standard Grote Male Pin and hard-shell terminations, are fully encapsulated in patented specially formulated potting which provides thermal protection as well as corrosion, shock and moisture resistance.

Green said that unlike other low-cost alternatives, Grote’s new lamps meet all FMVSS 108 and SAE requirements for visibility and safety, plus delivers Grote’s brand strength, reliability and durability in a cost-effective product offering.
