FALCONER, N.Y. — Today, Truck-Lite announced the addition of a new flush mount 6-diode LED dome light, part number 80162C, to its product line. With its black powder-coated steel housing, six half-watt diodes, epoxy-encapsulated circuitry and hard wired connector, the new lamp is rugged enough for a variety of heavy truck cab and bus applications.

“We set out to build a multipurpose dome lamp that will serve a variety of our customers’ needs,” said Brad Van Riper, Truck-Lite senior vice president and chief technical officer. “The fact that it is a flush mount design allows the product the versatility to fit many applications.” 

“The new LED Dome Lamp is made with traditional Truck-Lite quality, and carries a 3-year warranty. That’s 50 percent longer than any competitive product,“ added Bob Ives, vice president of marketing.
