LOWELL, Ark. — J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. reports that the company has been recognized by the Arkansas Trucking Association (ATA) as the 2007 Corporate Fleet Safety Grand Champion.
“Driving more than 33 million miles in a safe and efficient way, without any major accidents, is a major testament to J. B. Hunt Transport’s drivers and management and their commitment to highway safety,” said Lane Kidd, president of the Arkansas Trucking Association.
Each year, the ATA reviews safety records for a large number of for-hire and private carriers to determine which provider has the best overall highway safety performance for miles driven within the state of Arkansas. The organization selects only one carrier to receive the prestigious Grand Champion award. In 2007, J.B.
