MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — To keep pace with company growth, Bay & Bay Transportation will open a new terminal in Fargo, N.D. on July 1, the transportation and logistics company reports. The terminal will provide logistics, brokerage and warehouse services, with parking space for tractors and trailers.
The Fargo facility will be Bay & Bay’s second out-of-state terminal. In March 2006, the company opened a terminal in Neenah, Wis.
“We want to make our services more closely available to our existing customers in the Red River Valley area and position ourselves to cultivate new business in the future,” explained Sam Anderson, president of Bay & Bay.
He added that the company has already launched an advertising campaign to recruit experienced truck drivers in the Fargo area.
Bay & Bay hired Fargo native, Jade Nelson, 38, in March 2008 as west regional sales manager. He will oversee the Fargo terminal operations.
Prior to joining Bay & Bay, Nelson spent 15 years in numerous roles at a Fargo transportation services company.
