ARLINGTON, Va. — The American Trucking Associations announced an all-star lineup for the 2008 ATA Management Conference & Exhibition (MC&E), which will be held in New Orleans Oct. 4-7.
“We’re delighted to return to a rejuvenated New Orleans for the 2008 Conference,” said ATA President Bill Graves. “We’re celebrating the rebirth of a great city as well as ATA’s 75th anniversary. This is trucking’s premier event of the year.”
ATA is returning to New Orleans for the first time in 10 years with a program that ranges from the latest on engines and fuel conservation to a generous sampling of New Orleans’ world-renowned hospitality. • Country music star Lee Ann Womack will enchant attendees at the ATA Annual Banquet — a gala conference tradition and always a night to remember.
• The newest and best in trucks, engines, technology and business services turn ATA’s Exhibition Hall into the industry’s hottest showcase of the year.
• Political analyst Frank Luntz, one of America’s top polling and issues-management consultants, will provide insight into the 2008 political scene and the hotly contested presidential race, and
