Fikes Truck Line gets FEMA approval

HOPE, Ark. — Fikes Truck Line is now an approved transportation supplier for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the company reports. A national trucking company specializing in flatbed, RGN, side deck and heavy haul transportation, Fikes has been an approved Department of Defense (DoD) carrier since 2004.

“As an approved FEMA carrier, Fikes will be available to provide critical assistance and support to disaster relief missions within the 48 contiguous states,” explains Allen Brown, Manager of Government Freight at Fikes.

Gary Salisbury, President and COO at Fikes stated that, “it is rewarding to be able to support our country at vital times.”

Fikes Truck Line is an active participant on the Surface Committee of the National Defense Transportation Association, assisting federal agencies and the DoD procure transportation services.
