LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. — Mack Trucks Inc. now offers Bendix ADB22X heavy-duty air disc brakes on the Mack Pinnacle Axle Forward and Mack Pinnacle Axle Back models.  Visitors to the company’s booth (No. 18086) at the Great American Trucking Show Aug. 21-23 in Dallas will have the opportunity to see a complete installation on an actual vehicle.

Disc brakes are noted for their superior braking performance, resistance to fade on long downhill descents, ease of maintenance, and longer component life.  They are attractive to customers with especially demanding on-highway braking requirements, and complement the enhanced performance and safety of the Mack Roll Stability Advantage system that is standard on the company’s highway vehicles.

Mack is initially offering the Bendix disc brakes on 12,000-pound front and 40,000-pound rear supplier axles.
