RICHMOND, VA — Estes Brokerage, a wholly-owned subsidiary of North American carrier Estes Express Lines, went nationwide this month to offer customers a complete range of truckload solutions for all 50 United States, the Caribbean, Canada and Mexico. The brokerage network is made up of carefully qualified carriers that utilize standard trailers, vans, flatbeds or reefers, Estes said.

Estes Brokerage is designed to ensure carrier quality through a rigorous selection process consisting of a full screening for safety, reliable service and financial stability. In addition, Estes Brokerage customers enjoy the convenience of a single point of contact for complete customer service, including setup, tracking and tracing and invoicing, according to the company.

Parent company Estes is also providing a security net for Truckload Brokerage customers. If ever necessary, the Estes fleet can step in at a moment’s notice to deliver freight when a broker carrier can’t.

“We want our customers to know that they will get the same kind of excellent customer care they get with Estes’ LTL division,” said Estes Brokerage General Manager Bobby Speight. “And with the Estes fleet of 6,500 trucks backing the service, they have even more peace of mind.”

Parent company Estes also offers competitive asset-based solutions for volume and truckload in addition to a full array of LTL, expedited, supply chain management and offshore and international services.

Richmond -based Estes is a full-service transportation provider offering coast-to-coast North American coverage. Founded in 1931 by W.W. Estes, the company is still owned and operated by the Estes family. Estes now employs 13,000 people and boasts an inventory of more than 30,000 pieces of power equipment and trailers.
