THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Director of Warehousing Chris Reynolds reports that Old Dominion Freight Line’s Warehousing Division is opening its first warehouse in Southern California, at 6055 Randolph Street, Commerce, Calif.

“We are excited to be in the Southern California market and we are ahead of schedule in our Western Warehouse Division,” Reynolds said. “Additional capabilities in Commerce will include shipment consolidation, container deconsolidation, cross docking, full service warehousing and all modes of transportation such as truckload, LTL and air.”

The Commerce location allows ODFL not only to service the Southern California market but also to participate in supply chains originating in the Far East, Reynold added. The Warehouse Division will work with Old Dominion’s China partner to perform door-to-door services to, from and between points in the Far East, the United States, Mexico and Canada.
