FULTON, Ky. — A trucking company is putting a terminal in far western Kentucky, creating about 100 new jobs.

The Paducah Sun reported that Hartt Transportation Systems of Bangor, Maine, will open an office and warehouse by the end of the month in the Fulton Industrial Park.

Eddie Crittendon, executive director of the Fulton County-Hickman County Economic Development Partnership, said the city’s proximity to Hartt’s freight routes should be a good fit.

Crittendon said the company expects to begin with about 80 drivers and about a dozen office workers.
