Fatal ammonia release at CF terminal kills driver

NEW YORK — CF Industries Holdings Inc. said a fatal release of anhydrous ammonia at its Pine Bend, Minn., terminal killed one truck driver and injured another.
Late Monday night the company said the released ammonia had dissipated and did not present a hazard to the community. Officials and company personnel have launched a full investigation of the accident, which occurred during loading operations.
