The goal of the new plan is to provide readers and advertisers with the broadest and fastest distribution network.

TravelCenters of America, WILCO, Roady's Truck Stops ... these are among the well over 1,000 truck stop and travel center locations where The Trucker will be available beginning with the August 1-14 issue as part of a plan to distribute the nation’s leading trucking newspaper and other Target Media Partners (TMP) publications in more locations than ever before.

Also beginning with the August 1-14 issue, the newspaper will no longer be available at Flying J locations, but according to Ed Leader, vice president of the trucking division of TMP, at least two new locations have already been added for every former Flying J location as TMP, the parent company of The Trucker, moves toward its goal of adding hundreds of new driver delivered locations by September.

“Our goal is to provide our readers and advertisers with the broadest and fastest distribution system in the industry,” said Leader.  “We have already installed news racks at over 200 new locations and have secured a total of more than 500 new stores. We continue to add dozens of locations each week across the U.S.  I encourage our readers to support the truck stops we work with and look for the news and stories that affect us and our industry while they are still timely and relevant.”

TMP is also seeking to add The Trucker distribution to new truck rest areas (in addition to the several hundred it already reaches) and will be making more announcements as new locations are added, Leader promised.
