CLEVELAND — TMW Systems has been named to Inc. Magazine’s third annual Inc. 5000 list as one of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies, the company reports.

Appearing for the first time, TMW Systems, which appears at No. 2,127 on the Inc. 5000 list and No. 50 on Inc. Magazine’s list for Logistics and Transportation firms, is a software provider for the transportation services industry. The company manufactures and distributes solutions for logistics management, fuel efficiency, trucking profitability and fleet maintenance.

“TMW is proud to be recognized among the notable, private firms that drive America’s economy, create vital new jobs and spur growth in local communities,” said TMW Systems CEO and President David W. Wangler. “Our customers are the foundation for that growth and this achievement is a result of their sound business decisions to select transportation management technologies and services from TMW.”

Joining TMW on the list are prominent brands such as consumer electronics maker Vizio, Internet giant GoDaddy and revenue leaders such as engineering firm CH2M Hill, energy company Maxum Petroleum and computer hardware maker Kingston Technology.

The magazine’s 2009 list is designed to serve as a unique report card on the U.S. economy. Aggregate revenue among the companies listed increased to $214 billion, up $29 billion from last year, with a median three-year growth rate of 126 percent. For TMW Systems, that growth rate was 148.9 percent.

TMW Systems Inc. says it is committed to delivering customer-driven solutions that help companies in the transportation services sector seize market opportunities while improving profitability and gaining a better return on information. TMW customers include 3PLs and shippers, private and for-hire trucking, brokerage, construction, ready-mix concrete, municipal fleet, heavy-duty repair and waste management operations. TMW currently serves more than 1,600 customers managing over 325,000 power units and maintaining more than 1.1 million assets worldwide, including North America, Europe, China and Latin America.
