DES MOINES, Iowa — Two Interstate 80 rest stops that provide travel respites for hundreds of thousands of people motoring through Iowa will be removed to make way for a new interchange.

The rest stops sit west of a proposed interchange at Exit 119 in Dallas County, just west of Des Moines.
