Thick fog, smoke expected on I-75 in north Florida
Eleven people died and 22 were hurt Jan. 29 in a series of crashes on I-75 near Gainesville after thick fog and smoke cut visibility to almost zero.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Drivers on Interstate 75 and other highways in north Florida are being warned to be careful of smoke and fog.
The Gainesville Sun reported (http://bit.ly/KnWCDJ ) that the Florida Highway Patrol is expecting reduced visibility Tuesday morning on I-75, U.S. 41, U.S. 441 and State Road 2. The FHP says drivers should slow down and use headlights if they encounter fog and smoke.
