BP Team USA Experience to be feature at Walcott Truckers Jamboree

WALCOTT, Iowa — As the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games approach, BP Products North America Inc. has partnered with Iowa 80 Truckstop to give attendees of this year’s Walcott Truckers Jamboree the opportunity to step into the shoes of Team USA hopefuls.

BP’s Team USA Experience is a free event, and will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on July 12 and again from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on July 13. The exhibit provides the opportunity for those attending the Walcott Truckers Jamboree to participate in simulated Olympic and Paralympic sports, including a 10-meter sprint, wheelchair race, shot-put and discus. Attendees can also learn about the benefits of BP gasoline with Invigorate.

In addition to the BP Team USA Experience, this year’s Walcott Truckers Jamboree will feature more than 200 exhibits; a Super Truck Beauty Contest; Antique Truck Display; Iowa pork chop cookout; Trucker Olympics; carnival games; two free concerts; a fireworks display and other family friendly activities. 

Admission and parking are free.  Shuttles will be provided from the parking area to the event grounds.

The 33rd Annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree, will be held July 12-13 at Iowa 80 Truckstop, I-80 Exit 284, Walcott, Iowa.
