TRAFFIC ALERT: I-65 closures NW of Indy continue
Begnning Monday, police will be stopping traffic in both the northbound and southbound in 20 minute increments between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., weather permitting. Officers will allow traffic to clear out before stopping motorists again.

LEBANON, Ind. — The Indiana Department of Transportation says 20-minute lane closures on Interstate 65 in Boone County northwest of Indianapolis will continue through Friday.
Road crews have been working on the State Road 39 Bridge and other related projects. Begnning Monday, police will be stopping traffic in both the northbound and southbound in 20 minute increments between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., weather permitting. Officers will allow traffic to clear out before stopping motorists again.
INDOT says state police will have increased patrols to enforce reduced speed limits in the area.

The $41 million project will add an additional lane in each direction and reconstruct a stretch of the existing lanes of I-65. The project also includes rebuilding or rehabilitating three bridges. Work is scheduled to be completed in July 2013.
