NEW ALBANY, Miss. — New Albany Police Chief David Grisham says a trucker's body was found in the cab of his 18-wheeler after the trucking company got worried because he hadn't checked in and used GPS to track the rig to a service station.
Grisham tells the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal that the company called the Pilot station on Highway 15 on Sunday, saying workers hadn't heard from the driver in a few days.
The police chief says the death appears natural, but there will be an autopsy.
