VAN BUREN, Ark. — USA Truck announced today that it will begin adding approximately 125 new jobs, including truck driving positions, in the greater West Memphis, Ark., area. This new opportunity is a result of increasing customer demand in that area.

These additional jobs will be part of a plan to upgrade an existing smaller facility to a full-service terminal beginning in March. This upgraded operating center will include on-site fleet managers, full-service maintenance facilities, safety and driver training staff, plus driver amenities. Drivers age 21 or older with a valid CDL and an acceptable driving record are encouraged to apply.

"We are excited to add stable, good-paying jobs in a tough economy in the West Memphis area, where we have had a business presence for more than 25 years," said Cliff Beckham, USA Truck's president and CEO. "The expansion of our facility there to a full-service operations center will enhance the experience for our drivers through better home time and overall support."
