Truck spills load of mail on Philly-area highway

WARRINGTON, Pa. — A large load of mail has been spilled all over a highway in suburban Philadelphia after it apparently spilled from a delivery truck.
The letters and boxes are scattered along the northbound lanes of Route 611 in Warrington after they spilled around 7:15 a.m. Monday. Some of the boxes that spilled say "U.S. Mail." The U.S. Postal Service says it's sending someone to the scene to investigate what happened.
Officials believe the back door of a tractor-trailer carrying mail somehow came open. It's been backing up traffic in the area during the morning rush hour.
