The 2013 Trucking for a Cure convoy for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Ontario, will be held Oct. 5 in Woodstock, Ontario. A team for the Owner-Operator's Business Association of Canada is looking to raise money for the cause. The team has raised $645.00 as of Sept. 26 and hopes to raise $5,000.
Their message is below:
“Powered by love and hope, Trucking for a Cure is part of the driving force that turns the industry PINK in the month of October. To show our pride and support, TEAM OBAC (Joanne Ritchie & Jim Park) will be driving in the Trucking for a Cure convoy in Woodstock, Ontario on October 5, 2013. In addition to raising funds for breast cancer research and awareness, we are committed to bringing attention to all wellness issues faced by commercial drivers out on the road. Your donation to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation will help us deliver the cure.”
