A preview of the song can be heard in Shell Rotella SuperRigs commercials aired in advance of the event.
The Shell Rotella SuperRigs competition is the premier truck beauty contest for actively working trucks. Owner/operator truckers from across the United States and Canada will compete for cash and prizes valued at over $25,000. Twelve drivers will also be selected to have their truck featured in the 2015 Shell Rotella SuperRigs calendar.
“Having the Shell Rotella SuperRigs competition become part of the Sprint All-Star Race weekend continues the strong growth the event has experienced over the past few years,” said Chris Guerrero, global brand manager, Shell Rotella. “We expect to have a great weekend of competition for all the hard working truckers that attend SuperRigs and to offer them a chance to see some great racing and other events at Charlotte Motor Speedway.”
The traditional Friday night SuperRigs Truck Parade will take place at Charlotte Motor Speedway prior to the Friday night truck series race. Fifty lucky truckers will be selected as Truck Parade participants by the Shell Rotella team. There will be a fireworks display on Friday night and Saturday night.
The NTPA Koester Racing Tractor Pull race team, including their mini-modified tractors, will be coming. The Rotella Road Show will be on site, allowing spectators the opportunity to participate in an interactive experience that takes them through the programs, community involvement and technology of the Shell Rotella brand.
There will be a vendor pavilion where a variety of vendors will give contestants an opportunity to learn more about their products and services. Food concessions will also be available throughout the event.
Drivers that register by April 28 for Rotella SuperRigs will receive a VIP gift bag and VIP parking space. Registration information and more details about Shell Rotella SuperRigs is available at www.Rotella.com/SuperRigs.
