LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department says bridge work will require lane closures on Interstate 430 in Little Rock and Interstate 40 in Prairie County.

The highway department says the southbound inside lane of Interstate 430 will be closed Wednesday and Thursday during the day between mile markers 1 and 2. Crews will be repairing railing to a bridge that was damaged in a recent traffic accident.

The bridge is over Otter Creek just north of the Baseline Road overpass.

In eastern Arkansas, crews will repair the Hazen interchange overpass on Wednesday and Thursday. The work will require closing the eastbound inside lane between mile markers 195 and 197 on Wednesday.
