AMERICAN FALLS, Idaho — Bully Dog has announced the availability of a ceramic-coated exhaust systems for Class 8 engines.

The first manifold developed is the E Model Exhaust Manifold, according to Shawn Udy, Big Rig project manager.
The new manifold will replace stock exhaust manifolds on E Model 3406E engines ’94-‘00 as well as C-15 engines ’99-’04, Udy said.

“The E Model Manifold is guaranteed to provide three to fourth tenths per gallon improvement in fuel economy gains, as well as add 30 additional hp to the rear wheels,” Udy said. “The entire manifold is finished with a high performance ceramic coating; which improves air flow, as well as lowers exhaust temperatures radiating off of the manifold by 300 degrees.”

Udy said independent testing on a Saenz flow bench confirmed air flow improvements of 18 percent over a stock manifold.
