Diesel price takes small dip after three weeks of increases

Two regions were above the $3 a gallon threshold this week: New England ($3.065) and Central Atlantic ($3.023).

The weekly retail on-highway diesel price U.S. average dropped $0.009 a gallon this week to $2.870 per gallon, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

The East Coast ($0.001), the Lower Atlantic ($0.003) and the Rocky Mountain region ($0.013) all showed an increase for the week.

Two regions were above the $3 a gallon threshold this week: New England ($3.065) and Central Atlantic ($3.023).

The most expensive region was the New England region and the lowest price was $2.827 in the Rocky Mountain region.

California was $3.008 per gallon, which dropped $0.024 from last week.
