Illinois Tollway updates speed-limit signs

Thursday, January 7, 2010
The speed limit for trucks that weigh more than 4 tons increased to 65 mph from 55 mph along rural interstates in Illinois on Jan. 1. The state tollway says that means the speed limit for those trucks has changed on portions of Interstate 90, or the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway, and Interstate 88, or the Reagan Memorial Tollway.
