NORMAL, Ill. — Illinois-based trucking company Nussbaum Transportation Services has announced the launch of its re-designed and enhanced Web site www.nussbaum.com.

The new site more accurately reflects the company’s brand, offers updated and expanded content, and provides customers with powerful tools for managing and tracking shipments, according to company President Brent Nussbaum.

To advance these features, Nussbaum developed new site architecture that more easily allows viewers to find the information they seek, he said, adding that the content that supports the new architecture has been optimized with the goal of driving new potential customers to the site.

“We’re really excited about the launch of our new Web site,” Nussbaum said. “It brings together a lot of the work we’ve been doing to tell a more compelling and personal story about our company. Our new site really captures the unique spirit our team brings to every customer, and it reminds us of how we stand apart from other trucking companies. We look at problems in new and often innovative ways.”

Nussbaum said the company fully optimized its new Web site to meet the demands of today’s search engine practices.

“This level of back-end detail will enable us to capture new users unfamiliar with our company and its core service offerings,” he said. “It will also help the company attain a more competitive edge within the midsize trucking industry, from attracting new customers to helping drivers looking for trucking careers.”

The site’s updated navigation repositions the company’s trucking services and solutions-oriented strengths more front and center, Nussbaum said.

Specifically, he said, the trucking company seeks t

• Highlight its innovations in customizing trucking equipment and services.

• Showcase the back-end technology they use and develop.

• Share breaking news about customized transportation solutions

“Potential customers can now learn about the range of equipment Nussbaum uses to haul freight, the advanced communications technologies that drive their on-time delivery record and the customer tools they offer to streamline supply chain management,” Nussbaum said. “They can also watch videos that spotlight case studies of Nussbaum’s growing Dedicated Transportation Services and explore the various industries that Nussbaum serves. As with the previous site, Nussbaum customers can easily log into their accounts to for real-time tracking of shipments and deliveries.

“We have lots of ideas for how we can use our website to continue expanding on the kind of quality information and service that has become the backbone of our business. We’re developing new ideas for customized solutions every day and our website will be an integral component in getting the word out.”
