Stoughton Trailers to add 300 jobs

STOUGHTON, Wis. — Stoughton Trailers says it will add more than 300 employees to its payroll by the end of the year.

The trailer manufacturer says it will gradually increase production because of the strengthening market for its products.

Notifications of possible job recalls went out to more than 500 laid off employees in May. The company says positions will be filled by both recalled workers and new hires.

Stoughton Trailers says its the fifth largest trailer manufacturing company in North America. Stoughton Trailers has been locally owned and operated for nearly 50 years.
