Navistar launches Core Advantage to reduce cost of ownership, extend product life

LISLE, Ill. – Navistar October 19 announced the launch of the Core Advantage Program, a creative new approach for core life cycle management. The Core Advantage Program helps fleet owners reduce their overall costs by helping them to manage their core and remanufacturing activity through new tools like the Navistar proprietary software Core Management System (CMS). Cores are used or failed parts that have been returned by the customer at the end of its product life.

ATLANTA— UPS Tuesday announced it plans to add 200 new hybrid electric delivery trucks to the company’s growing alternative fuel and advanced technology fleet. The vehicles have the same 2-cylinder engine and E-GENTM chassis as the 125 vehicles UPS announced earlier this year.

LISLE, Ill. — Navistar today announced a new agreement with Meritor Inc. to co-brand Premium Brake Shoe Kits offered through the Fleetrite heavy duty parts brand. The agreement covers approximately 50 part numbers that will be labeled Fleetrite Manufactured by Meritor.
