JACKSON, Miss. — Just one month after being named the Top Bulk Trucking Company in Logistics Management magazine’s Quest for Quality awards in August, Miller Transporters has once again been selected as a Top 100 Motor Carrier by Inbound Logistics magazine.
The selection is from a pool that was narrowed down to 230 of the nation’s best carriers of all modes out of a possible 20,000 for hire motor carriers.
This is the fourth straight year Miller has received this honor for excellence in the transportation industry, the company said in a news release.
Miller operates over 500 tractors and 1100 trailers and is authorized as a common and contract carrier by the U.S. Department of Transportation and by Canadian and individual state regulatory agencies.
The broad North American authority allows Miller to move bulk commodities between points in the U.S., between the U.S. and Canadian provinces, and between the U.S. and Mexico via partner carrier interchange, the company said.
Lee Miller, grandson of Harold D. Miller Sr., who founded the company in 1942, serves as company president.
