LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Kix Brooks, one half of the award-winning country music duo, Brooks and Dunn, will be a featured guest during the 2013 Mid America Trucking Show here at the Red Eye Radio’s lobby booth.

Eric Harley, host of Red Eye Radio, will be on hand to introduce drivers and attendees to country Brooks as the radio show opener.  In addition, country music recording artists Maggie Rose, Edgar Hansen, Deck Boss on Discovery Channel’s “Deadliest Catch,” and Marc Springer on A&E Network’s  Shipping Wars will also be on site to “meet and greet” show attendees.

These personalities will be in the Red Eye Radio lobby booth shaking hands, signing autographs, and taking pictures.

Born and raised in Shreveport, La., Brooks was influenced by a variety of regional musical styles ranging from Cajun to blues to jazz to country. In 1990 Brooks teamed with Ronnie Dunn to form Brooks and Dunn, who are the highest selling duo in the history of country music.

They have sold more than 30 million records, won more than 75 major industry awards, had 23 No. 1 hits, and set a new record with their 41st top 10 single. Brooks ventured into the world of radio in 2006 when he took over the hosting reins of the long-running syndicated radio program, American Country Countdown.

While attendees are at the Red Eye booth visiting these celebrities they will have a chance to register for GPS units, CB Radios, Justin J Max Boots handcrafted in the USA and many other great prizes to be given away throughout the show.

Red Eye Radio, hosted by Eric Harley and Gary McNamara can now be heard on over 200 stations nationwide in a live five-hour nightly conversation with America, airing Monday – Sunday on FREE AM radio stations across the country.
