DENTON, Texas — Darrin Siver is the new general manager at Peterbilt Motors Co., replacing Bill Kozek, who has been named president of Navistar’s North America Truck and Parts business.
Siver comes to Peterbilt from Paccar Parts, where he was general manager, and has been with Paccar in several capacities for 19 years.
Peterbilt is a part of Paccar as is sister OEM Kenworth Truck Co.
Siver is already on the job here, a company official said.
His appointment follows a Paccar pattern of promoting from within.
Kozek came to Peterbilt from an assignment at Paccar. Prior to that, he had been general manager at Kenworth. He replaced Bill Jackson, who came to Denton from Paccar and has since returned to Paccar as a vice president.
Jackson replaced Dan Sobic, who today remains an executive at Paccar.
