Volvo Trucks reports that July deliveries in North America decreased 1 percent to 2,350 vehicles in comparison with the same period last year.
In July overall, 9,959 Volvo trucks were delivered, an increase of 20 percent compared with the same month last year, according to a news release from the OEM.
In Europe 3,878 vehicles were delivered during July, up by 26 percent compared with July 2012.
“An extensive product renewal is under way” with five new truck models: Volvo FH, Volvo FM, Volvo FMX, Volvo FE and Volvo FL. All the new models include innovations and features that make the driver's job easier and more efficient, Volvo officials said.
July deliveries in Latin America increased 59 percent to 2,270 trucks compared with July 2012.
Deliveries in Brazil increased 77 percent to 1,963 compared with the same period last year.
