Founded in 1916, Oak Harbor Transfer — the forerunner of Oak Harbor Freight Lines — began as a local cartage carrier serving Washington State’s Whidbey Island. Today, this family-owned business operates a total of 36 terminals in Washington, California, Nevada and Idaho.

Drive with Oak Harbor

Oak Harbor Freight Lines is looking for qualified local linehaul and P&D drivers. Linehaul involves driving tractor-trailer combinations vehicles between Oak Harbor terminals and turn-points. Most routes are home daily, but some may require one- or two-day layover. P&D Drivers pick up and deliver freight to Oak Harbor customers and are home daily.

Qualifications, experience and skills required:

  • At least 21 years of age
  • One to two years of experience
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Hazmat, doubles/triples and tanker endorsements
  • DOT medical certification
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to use forklift preferred
  • Maintain Oak Harbor appearance policy
  • Must pass Oak Harbor road test
