Pricing for trucking is growing stronger, according to Donald Broughton of Broughton Capital, which partners with Cass Information Systems Inc. to produce the monthly Cass Transportation Indexes.
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The trucking industry appears to be in pretty good health overall, according to research firm FTR Transportation Intelligence’s most recent Trucking Conditions Index (TCI).

WASHINGTON — The Freight Transportation Services Index (TSI), which is based on the amount of freight carried by the for-hire transportation industry, reached an all-time high, rising 1.4 percent in July from June, after a one-month decline, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS).
