Trailer cargo shifts causing crash in Missouri

A cargo shift inside a semi-trailer caused a crash in Missouri and moderate injuries to a passenger.

According to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the incident occurred on Interstate 57, just six miles east of Charleston.

Police say that a 32-year-old female semi truck driver from Blytheville, Ark. was uninjured when the truck’s cargo shifted and struck the back cab of the tractor.

The passenger of the truck, a 44-year-old male from Norcross, Ga., suffered moderate injuries.
