TWIN FALLS COUNTY, Idaho — A crash involving two semi trucks injured a driver in Idaho.

On Wednesday at 10:15 a.m., Idaho State Police (ISP) stated in a press release that it investigated an injury crash at the intersection of US Highway 30 and N 3300 E, between Twin Falls and Kimberly.

Police say a 61-year-old male from Rupert was travelling westbound on Highway 30 in a 2011 Western Star semi truck hauling a John Deere farm tractor on a flatbed trailer. A 2013 Kenworth semi driven by a 37-year-old male from Twin Falls, was also travelling westbound on US Highway 30, behind the Western Star. The Kenworth reportedly collided with the rear of the flatbed trailer, spilling its load of potatoes into the intersection.

The driver of the Kenworth was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital. Both drivers were wearing a seat belt.
