BRANDON, Miss. – A big rig hauling Kit Kat bars lost its trailer and overturned on Interstate 20 in Brandon, Mississippi, shutting down an entrance ramp in Mississippi.

The incident was reported by Gray Media, citing the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) which said Monday the crash occurred in the afternoon near the entrance ramp to Highway 80.

Gray Media reported that as the semi truck was traveling east on Interstate 20, the trailer carrying the candy bars became disconnected from the cab and rolled onto the westbound ramp.

Crews at the scene said the truck was carrying about 11,000 pounds of Kit Kat bars.

The entrance ramp was shut down in both directions as crews worked to clear the scene.

No injuries were reported.
