WELLS COUNTY, North Dakota — Two people died in a crash in North Dakota involving a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV).
North Dakota State Patrol (NDSP) issued a release that stated that the crash occurred Tuesday evening at approximately 5:07 p.m.
Police say a Mack Truck was traveling west on Highway 52. A Dodge Caravan was stopped at the intersection of Highway 3 and Highway 52. The Dodge then proceeded forward, failing to yield to the Mack truck wich subsequently struck the Dodge.
The driver and passenger of the Dodge died at the scene. The driver of the Mack Truck was not injured.
Highway 52 was closed for approximately five hours, and traffic was routed through Harvey.
